Torquay

Torquay is in Devon on the south west coast of England.

We live in Barton which is just outside the main town centre.

Barton has a few local shops and pubs and,of course, our school!

Some more important information:

Elegant Victorian terraces nestle among the trees. The bustling harbour and golden beaches give the Riviera its well earned name.

Rising up from the palm fringed seafront, the town is set on seven green hills, home to elegant Victorian terraces and white villas. This is the stunning backdrop to the Riviera's sandy beaches, pavement cafés and ornamental gardens.

The harbour is Torquay's lively 'town square'. The stunning new Waterfront, with its striking footbridge has restaurants, shops, café bars and of course, the new Living Coasts attraction.

Follow the coastline northwards from the busy waterfront and you'll find a tempting range of beaches and the characterful areas of Babbacombe, St. Marychurch and Maidencombe. During the day there is shopping to be done in Fleet Walk Shopping Centre, in the Pavilion or perhaps in the pretty village shopping street of St. Marychurch.

After dark Torquay comes alive again, when most will want to be out strolling the promenade, savouring the unique night-time atmosphere of the U.K.'s first 'resort'.

Torquay is a lovely place for visitors in the summer. We are waiting for you in Torquay :)

Welcome to Garlasco, Italy

Garlasco is our beautiful town with about 9.728 inhabitants. It is in the centre of “Lomellina”, a plain created by the Po river, characterized by numerous rice and corn fields. The city is famous for the Sanctuary of the Madonna of the Bozzola, to 4 km from the centre, place of pilgrimages of faithful. The oldest church (1614) of Garlasco is dedicated to the Holy Trinity. In the principal square there is the town hall and the castle (XIV century). There is also a historical theatre named “Martinetti” of 1833 years old.

Welcome to Pontecorvo, Italy

Pontecorno is not a very big town but it is nice and people are friendly. It has the River Liri. There is an old but beautiful church. You can have a rest near the fountain in the small park.

Welcome to Bielsk Podlaski, Poland

Bielsk Podlaski in a small but very nice town in north-eastern Poland. It is situated on the Bielsk Plain in the south of the Podlasie province. The town is located on the Biala River. It is a quite small river for having a rest and fishing.
There are over 28 000 inhabitans in our town. We all are pleased to meet you here in Bielsk Podlaski one day.
